EXECUTIVE WOMEN INTERNATIONAL

SHREVEPORT/BOSSIER CITY CHAPTER

The Leading Connection for Business Professionals               GoodSearch: You Search...We Give!

Executive Women International is an unique organization for Businesswomen that offer professional and personal opportunities and networking benefits for our members.  We have chapter member firms in the United States, Canada, and Europe.  Through leadership academies at the corporate or chapter level, the philanthropy and community involvement, we can offer a forum for the professional and personal development of today's businesswoman.  Executive Women International's mission statement is as such:

  • Promoting member firms;
  • Enhancing personal and professional development; and
  • Encouraging community involvement

Our Shreveport-Bossier City Chapter consists of local businesses from a diverse variety of industries.  Membership to EWI is unique because it is by invitation of non-compete firms; it belongs to the firm that assigns a key individual to act as a liaison for her firm with the other members.  We hold monthly meetings at different places throughout the Ark-La-Tex.  At times we meet at member firms for demonstrations, information, and tours of their facilities.

The Shreveport-Bossier City chapter participates in the following scholarships:

EWISP:  EWI Scholarship Program for a local high School junior;

ASIST:  Adults in Scholastic Transition;

DONNA TANNER SCHOLARSHIP:  For a LSU-Shreveport student in honor of our past president, Donna Tanner.
